Central Hydrogen Valley – letter of intent signed

On July 17, 2023, a letter of intent on the creation of the Łaszczyński Brothers Central Hydrogen Valley was signed in Kozienice, the heart of Polish energy. The project is to cover the entire path of hydrogen production and use - from the construction of electrolysers, through hydrogen storage, to the use of electricity for the production.

Initiating the creation of the Central Hydrogen Valley is a major step on the way to the energy transformation and the development of our hydrogen economy. This is a solution that - with the involvement of Polish entrepreneurs and experts - will strengthen both our energy security and provide the competitive advantage of the national economy” Anna Moscow, Minister of Climate and Environment, said during the ceremony of signing the letter of intent at the Kozienice Power Plant on July 17, 2023. The event was also attended by Ireneusz Zyska, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, representatives of energy groups and companies, entrepreneurs and scientific organisations.

On behalf of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the letter of intent was signed by Adam Żelezik, Director of the 3W Department:

Hydrogen is the future of the energy sector and the development of hydrogen technologies is an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage of the entire economy. We are the fifth world hydrogen producer, having the appropriate know-how, experience and now the infrastructure to become a leader, also in the production of green, emission-free hydrogen” Adam Żelezik said.
